Welcome to the HelpCumbria messageboard forum.
This forum has been established as it became very apparent that there was not a central place for people to meet and solely discuss the floods, the matters arising from the floods and just specifically Cumbria and the area that matters most to you. Sure there is Facebook and social media where a lot of information is being discussed, but it is caught up in the day to day lives of others who aren't affected and therefore the information you may wish to see isn't always available.
We have setup some initial sub-categories - Insurance, Weather, Trades - which hopefully provide a direct route to the information that flood victims and others may be looking for. If there is a sub-category which you feel would benefit from its own category then please email Admin who will be happy to assist in creating the space.
